What to Expect

Trying a new massage therapist can feel a little intimidating, especially if you don't know what to expect. My goal is to make your first visit feel simple, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment you book until you head home.

Before Your Appointment

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment if possible.

Your intake forms will be sent with your appointment confirmation email. While they can be completed when you arrive, filling them out beforehand helps ensure we can spend your full appointment time focused on your care rather than paperwork.

Wear comfortable clothing and come just as you are. There's nothing you need to do to prepare beyond showing up.

During Your Session

Every session is customized to your goals and comfort level.

Depending on your needs, your treatment may include therapeutic massage, deep tissue work, craniosacral therapy, cupping, gua sha, stretching, or other techniques we've discussed together.

Communication is always encouraged. You're welcome to ask questions, request adjustments to pressure, or simply enjoy the quiet. This is your time, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and supported.

Aftercare

Healing doesn't end when your session does.

After your appointment, I encourage you to drink plenty of water, move gently, and give your body time to process the work we've done together.

Depending on your treatment, you may receive personalized aftercare recommendations to help support your body's continued healing between visits.

Common Questions

How do I book my first session and which one should I choose?

Booking is easy!

Appointments can be scheduled online through my booking system anytime.

Once your appointment is confirmed, you'll receive a confirmation email with your intake paperwork and everything you'll need to prepare for your visit.

If you're unsure which to choose, Custom Therapeutic Massage is the best place to start. Your session is tailored to your goals, and we'll choose the techniques that best support your body that day.

When will I receive my intake forms?

Your intake forms are automatically sent in your appointment confirmation email after booking.

To ensure we can provide safe, personalized care and make the most of your scheduled appointment time, please complete your intake forms before your appointment. This allows us to review your health history, discuss any contraindications or concerns, and prepare for your visit before you arrive.

If your forms have not been completed prior to your appointment, we may need to reschedule your session.

Where is your practice located?

Solavi Wellness is located at:

121 Pelly Ave N

Renton, WA 98057

You'll find us in the center of the small courtyard marked "Wellness Collective," between the dentist's office and the therapist's office.

Free parking is available in the small parking lot on the right side of the building, and there is also 2-hour street parking directly in front.

What should I wear to my session?

Wear whatever feels comfortable to you.

Most clients arrive in everyday clothing and undress to their own comfort level for the session. You'll always be professionally draped throughout your treatment, with only the area being worked on exposed.

Your comfort, privacy, and consent are always my priority.

What if something feels uncomfortable?

Please let me know at any time. Pressure, positioning, music, temperature, conversation, and techniques can all be adjusted. Your comfort and sense of safety are always the priority.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, cash, and digital payments are accepted. Payment is due at the time of your appointment.

Solavi Wellness is a private-pay practice and does not bill health insurance, PIP (auto accident), or L&I/Workers' Compensation claims.

If your insurance plan offers out-of-network reimbursement, I'm happy to provide a superbill for you to submit directly to your insurance company. Please verify your benefits with your provider first.

HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Do you accept insurance?
What is your cancellation policy?

Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I simply ask for at least 24 hours' notice so I can offer that time to someone else.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.

If you're running late, please call, text, or email as soon as possible. If we haven't heard from you within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, your appointment will be considered a no-show, and the full session fee will apply.

To reserve your appointment, all clients are required to keep a valid debit or credit card securely on file.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us provide timely, intentional care to every client.
