CranioSacral Therapy

A gentle, hands-on approach that supports your nervous system, encourages deep relaxation, and creates space for your body to do what it was designed to do—heal.

What Makes CranioSacral Therapy Different?
Unlike techniques that rely on deeper pressure, CranioSacral Therapy uses an extremely gentle touch—about the weight of a nickel. Rather than working directly with muscles, the focus is on supporting the nervous system and listening to how your body responds in real time.
What is CranioSacral Therapy?
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body's connective tissues and nervous system. Using an extremely light touch, it supports the body's natural ability to release tension, regulate the nervous system, and encourage deep rest.
You May Benefit If...
• Your nervous system always feels 'on'
CST provides a safe harbor for the nervous system to recalibrate and release long-held patterns of stress and pain.
• You struggle to fully relax
• You experience chronic headaches or migraines
• You have TMJ discomfort
• You are living with chronic pain
• You feel overwhelmed, anxious, or burned out
• You're recovering from injury or surgery
• You're navigating grief or major life transitions
• You simply want to reconnect with your body
What a Session Feels Like
A CranioSacral session is an experience of deep quiet and presence. Clients remain fully clothed unless combining CST with massage, resting comfortably on a treatment table. Sessions include light hand placements and moments of quiet stillness. Some people notice warmth, deep relaxation, subtle shifts, emotional release, vivid imagery, or simply fall asleep. Others notice very little during the session but experience changes afterward. Every experience is different, and there is no "right" way to respond.
Does CranioSacral Therapy hurt?
Not at all. The pressure used is incredibly light, similar to the weight of a nickel. It is a non-invasive, relaxing therapy designed to soothe the system, not stress it.
Will I feel anything?
Experiences vary. Some people feel gentle pulses, warmth, or a sense of expansion, while others simply feel a profound sense of relaxation and stillness.
How many sessions will I need?
Every nervous system is different. Some find relief in a single session, while more chronic issues may benefit from a series of 3-5 sessions to build momentum in the body's healing response.
Common Questions
Do I stay clothed?
Yes. CST is traditionally performed with the client fully clothed. If you are combining it with a massage session, your therapist will discuss the appropriate draping levels for your comfort.
Can it be combined with massage?
Absolutely. Combining the structural focus of massage with the nervous system support of CST can be a powerful way to address both muscle tension and systemic stress.
Is emotional release normal?
Some clients experience emotions during or after a session, while others simply notice a sense of calm. Both are normal. CranioSacral Therapy can create space for the nervous system to settle, and everyone's experience is unique.
Personalized Care for Your System
No two appointments are exactly alike because no two people walk through my door with the same story. Every session is guided by what your body needs that day, whether that's deep rest, gentle support, or simply space to breathe. My role isn't to force change—it's to create an environment where your body feels safe enough to do what it already knows how to do.
Support Your Nervous System.
Support Yourself.
Your session doesn't have to fit neatly into one modality. If it best supports your goals, CranioSacral Therapy can be thoughtfully integrated with therapeutic massage, allowing your care to evolve with what your body needs that day.
